Oh, and it's not actually that difficult to run P2P on uni computers without getting caught. You still shouldn't though, it's very bad.

It's easy enough to hide the p2p programs on the uni compute ...

Ahh, got it working in firefox.

What was wrong with it was that it was blocking the popup window when you wanted to talk to someone. Damn the firefox's efficiency!
