Wanted: Great double room for rent in Old Town area
|
|
maximus writes "Hey. I no longer need my double room in a great flat in Parkside Terrace (Old Town), as I will be on placement between January & July 2011. I share with 2 other lads who are 4th year undergraduates and who are well housetrained. The flat is owned by the family of one student, is really well furnished and comfy. There is a spacious kitchen with all mod cons, and brilliant communal living room, and bathroom. It’s situated in a quiet cul-de-sac, 5 minutes’ walk from Pollock Halls, 20 minutes from King’s Buildings, and close to grocery shops, off-licences and pubs ‘n clubs. Oh, and rent is £360pm (negotiable) + amenities. This is my second year living here and I would highly recommend it and the guys I share with. I have photos of the flat inside & out, if that would help.
If you're interested, please phone 07759111350, or emal c.mack4@ntlworld.com"

For Rent: ROOM FOR RENT - EDINBURGH UNIVERSITY HALLS - CITY CENTRE
|
|
LouiseMcvey writes "The room is available to rent for postgraduate (full time) students at Edinburgh University or postgraduate students from any other University within Edinburgh (e.g. Heriott Watt, Napier, QMU etc) from now until June 2011.
It is one of twelve rooms within the flat and there are five floors within the building (there is a lift). It is half a mile to the University Library and close to lots of amenities. The property is situated just off South Bridge.
The rent is approximately £460 per month which includes all bills, a lounge room with TV, internet and phone (incoming calls are free but you pay for outgoing calls). There are washing faciliities within the building which cost £1.50 to do a wash and £1 for the dryer. (toilet paper is also an additional cost).
The room has a desk, wardrobe, a small double bed, bedside table with drawers, shelving unit and a sink. The room is in a corridor with four others and there is one bathroom and shower room between those four rooms (all females). There is a communal kitchen and a cleaner comes in to do the basics such as clean the floors and the bathroom.
The flat has a mix of trainee teachers and other masters students from a range of countries (Canada, China, Sweden).
I will need about a week or so to move out as I need to fill my room before I can move out of the accomodation which gives a rough time frame for anyone wishing to move in. I am not moving because of the quality of accommodation or anything, the halls no longer suit my personal cir*****stances.
Please note that this room is for POSTGRADUATES only and won't be let out to any undergraduates (University rules).
Thanks
"
