It's easy enough to hide the p2p programs on the uni computers, but you get flagged, and then slapped around if you use to much bandwidth. Thats how they catch you. More than a couple of gig a month on your uni account and you'll be watched very closely. Carry on doing it, and expect to recieve a pretty harsh warning.
Thats Edinburgh Uni though, I know alot of my friends who use their uni acounts at other unis for seeding files at stupidly high speeds and get no warnings whatsoever.
