We finally have a distributor in America! Actually, two of them! Lions Gate and IFC Films have agreed to aggressively distribute "Fahrenheit 9/11" in theaters all across the country beginning on Friday, June 25th.
obviously this date applies for the US.

It turns out that all the bullshit about Disney pulling the plug at the last minute was, well, bullshit. Michael Moore knew a year before it was due out that Disney wouldn't distribute an anti-Bush film. He just used it to try and create publicity. I can't stand that guy.
I like Michael Moore, I am, however, by no means a michael moore fanboy -someone who just agrees with whatever he says! The thing is Michael Moore has never [to my knowledge] said that it was a last minute pull out by Disney (please correct me if i'm wrong). He said he never leaked that piece of info and had been working hard for months to try and get it released. The fact still remains that Disney weren't going to release an anti-Bush film and well that's not exactly a bad thing to publicise. _________________
