The EML is moving lock stock and barrel over to the main library. The ground floor and 1'st floor EUCS labs are going to be dismantled between now and the 25th of June.
Over the summer the basement is being refurbished and made into one big lab so come September everything should be up and running in a spanking new EUCS lab (no news about new machines but it does have air con ). I have no idea which departments are moving into the other floors.
Oh and it's going to be a 24 hour lab so here's hoping it doesn't turn into another Greenfield suite. _________________ Nik - EUCS Print Services & Lab Supervisor

Well the Greenfield Suite is notorious for being a 'difficult' lab to maintain. Since it was taken over by the Medical dept it has gone from bad to worse. Food everywhere, rodents, unclean workstations, people sleeping overnight, fighting, stealing, drink spilled on keyboards, things ripped off walls, back of chairs ripped off, etc, etc.
There is no form of security 24 hours a day and the cleaners hate the place. There is a pallet leaning on the wall, its been sitting there for over 2 years we reckon.
