Right, realise very few people are paying attention yet, but I'm sure they will, so I thought I'd get my Society plug in nice an' early.
Edinburgh Uni Creative Writing Society, as well as having weekly meetings during term time to discuss writing, help each other out, do writing exercises etc, also have a brilliant art magazine called Kaleidoscope, which launched recently, and a semi-regular and very successful open mic night known as mmm, Shiny.
We also have a WEBSITE, and a LIVEJOURNAL COMMUNITY, which will be active all the way through the vacation, and will hopefully scoop up some new members for the forthcoming year.
